Welcome to Vejer de la Frontera and to our apartment, Casa del Encanto. We are Michael and Inge from The Hague in the Netherlands. A few years ago Vejer came into our lives when a business partner moved here, and with every visit we fell more in love with this special white town. The winding streets, sweeping views and warm atmosphere made us feel at home from the start.

Owning a place abroad had been a long-time dream. When the opportunity arose in the historic center of Vejer, we took the leap. Casa del Encanto became a home we enjoy ourselves and a place we are happy to share with others.

We hope you will feel just as at home here as we do. Take time to wander the narrow streets, relax in the sun on the terrace and enjoy the unique rhythm of Vejer. One of Michael’s favorite routines is an early morning run from the apartment through the old town and down past the windmills or into the valley. It is a beautiful way to start the day.

Casa del Encanto is on the second floor and reached by two short flights of stairs. There is no elevator, so it may be less suitable for guests with limited mobility.

Free public parking is available within walking distance. Your digital guest guide includes suggested streets and the most convenient spots.

Fast and reliable WiFi is available throughout the apartment and on the terrace. A printed and digital guest guide is provided with restaurant tips, day trips and useful contacts to help you experience Vejer like a local.

For a relaxed start you can pre order an optional welcome package with local snacks and drinks. During traditional events such as Semana Santa and the Toro Embolado the old town can feel lively in the evenings. It is part of the authentic atmosphere of staying in the center.
